Class 3 and 4 losses will take longer to dry, but will still dry dramatically faster than conventional drying systems. Evaporation has always been the bottleneck of drying. Most contractors know from experience that up to 97% of the water can be removed from the structure, carpet, and pad with good extraction. It's evaporation of the remaining 3% of the water that's taking too long! TES can change that! Evaporation takes place when the vapor pressure of the liquid is greater than the the vapor pressure of the air. The greater the difference, the faster evaporation takes place.
